We have designed the interiors with comfort and relaxation in mind. Period elements have been reinstated befitting the age of the house. Fresh flowers, bespoke furniture and carefully chosen antiques create a contemporary, informal atmosphere.

The pretty wall cabinets flank an impressive stone fireplace which has witnessed many lively dinner parties.

The stone cats, Isis and Osiris, came with us to Dorset and have their own literary connection!

Our menu changes with the seasons, but will always include free-range and locally-sourced produce.

We offer a selection of cereals, muesli, yogurt and fruits and a cooked breakfast.

Elegant and stylish, this room has plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs to sink into.

The tall Georgian window faces south and looks onto the courtyard.

The Ham Stone fireplace was carved for us locally with stone quarried from nearby Ham Hill.

The Library, Dining Room and Drawing Room interconnect and, whether used separately or together, are ideal for small gatherings and functions. Please contact us for more details about exclusive hire of these rooms, as we can provide a bespoke service for your particular occasion.

We also have a secluded pretty courtyard which Guests are welcome to use.
